ABOUT ME
Hello there, I'm Darren from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I love weddings, love to be creative and love all things cameras and tech, so I thought why not combine them together as a wedding videographer and filmmaker. No two weddings are the same, each has their own unique quirks and ultimately each wedding has a different story to tell and it's simply my pleasure to capture those magical moments on film....I really do mean magical...I'm a Disney fan!
My approach is to be minimalist and discrete . Ultimately, I want to enjoy the day like your guests and blend in with the crowd. I'll just happen to have a camera in my hand to capture all those special moments. Weddings are fun and they are a celebration and that's what I like to portray in my films. When you watch your wedding films, you want to feel like you're living the day all over again.
I use professional high-quality cameras and audio recording equipment to ensure your wedding film is of a high standard. However, the gear itself isn't important, a camera at the end of the day is a box with a hole that captures light. It's having the creative mind in both shooting and editing that will tell an immersive story of your wedding day and at heart that is what I am, a storyteller.
When I’m not filming or editing weddings, I’m either building lego, playing drums or plotting my next travel adventure with my amazing family, who are the inspiration for my filmmaking journey. I would love to tell your love story!
I WILL HAVE GREAT PHOTOS, DO I NEED A WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER?
In my opinion, the simple answer is YES.
Photographs are wonderful memories to treasure but they are still moments in time. When you want to think about what was said or who did what, and relive the sights and sounds of the day, a wedding film in my view is the only way to ensure you laugh and cry all over again.
Of course, weddings are expensive so having your big day captured on film is the best way to keep those memories and money spent alive. You will realise in years to come it was such a good investment to hire a wedding videographer to capture all those memories on film.
